This class is designed to train and prepare new belayers for the responsibility of top rope belay. No experience required. The class offers a solid foundation in basic climbing rope work and opens up new climbing options inside the gym. 

Already know how to belay? You don't have to take this class if you can pass our inSPIRE Rock top rope belay test. Just request a test at the Welcome Desk.

This advanced class will focus on safety and best practice techniques of lead climbing. The class will cover all information and techniques required to pass an inSPIRE Rock lead test, but completing the class cannot guarantee your ability to pass.
